On October 9th, Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD), held their seventh annual Buona Sera dinner. The highly anticipated wine reception and dinner event was established to raise funds for The North and West End Neighborhood Service Center, specifically to help low income senior citizens in the winter months. Guests of the event purchase tables at a North End restaurant of their choosing and are joined by a celebrity host.
ABCD is New England’s largest non-profit human services agency, aiding low-income residents in the Greater Boston Area through various community centers and neighborhood programs.
Anthem President Chris Sinclair hosted a table for the second-consecutive year due to his reputation as an inspiring, exciting and diverse entrepreneurial and philanthropic leader. ABCD is just one of Anthem’s many involvements to support the Boston neighborhoods. Anthem takes pride in its engagement in philanthropic events and community developments, which is reflective of the company’s mission to both do well and do good.
