
Anthem President Chris Sinclair was the proud recipient of The University of Notre Dame’s inaugural “Ask More of Business Award”. The award was presented to Sinclair, with several Anthem colleagues in attendance, at an award luncheon on the Notre Dame Campus in November of 2016.
In addition to Chris, all of Anthem, was recognized for successfully making an impact at the local, national and international levels in its business, for profit endeavors and its social causes and mission. Anthem Entertainment Managing Partner, Ashley Mercurio commented that “being recognized by such a world-class and internationally renowned institution like Notre Dame is something that we are proud of and truly honored to receive”.
Over the past decade, Anthem has institutionally supported over 100 non-profit, NGO and community organizations by leveraging its resources, scope and reach. Sinclair actively or previously served as chair, board, or committee member for over twenty additional NGO, philanthropic, academic, and/or community based organizations
During his acceptance speech, Sinclair stated that “the decision to do well and to do good, is not a decision at all. Rather, it is an obligation to both – and to leverage Anthem’s resources to help others across a multitude of causes, organizations and communities”.
The “Ask More of Business Award” marks the second time in in 2016 alone that Anthem and Sinclair have been bestowed a prestigious award from a major university for Anthem’s success and social impact, having also been recognized by the University of Massachusetts earlier in the year.
